The foundation uses donations to allocate resources that provide a transition back into society. We are committed to providing aid to those seeking help with recovery from meth. We believe that we can use social media to leverage an interactive Website. The site will also act as a central point to access other resources such as housing, recovery centers and education.
Our immediate fundraising efforts are aimed at startup expenses and legal fees. We plan to raise $10,000 by the end of 2016 to establish an operating base. Future plans for the foundation include supporting Project Neon, Lifelong AIDS Alliance, and other established organizations helping addicts. We also plan to establish a fund for emergency services of food and shelter to clients needing immediate aid, and for assisting the client with the appropriate clothing, personal hygiene, dental work if necessary, bus money and interview skills needed to successfully look for a job.
The Kill Meth Foundation is incorporated in Washington state and has 501(c)(3) public charity status.
Donations are tax-exempt to the full extent of the law.
